Earlier this year on June 17th was our 1 year anniversary!
We were in Utah at the time and on that Sunday morning, Corbin was itching to take me to the place we spent a lot of time the month before he left for bootcamp. The Veterans Memorial Park in West Jordan. There, where we would have long deep convo's, recognized how much we cared for eachother and knew he would be gone in the Marines and would really miss eachother.
But, as you know, we ended up getting married!
We decided to just get cheap wedding bands so we could use our saved money for furniture and things we needed for our new place and save up to get rings later :)
We didn't care, just wanted to get married!
A cheap ring or an expensive ring have the same meaning.
When he took me here a year after we got married, we sat in our spot on the fountain and he started to pour his heart out to me how much he loved me and how grateful life has been together. He then pulled out a ring!! I had no idea.
I cried and couldn't stop.
He is perfect.
My ring is perfect.
He designed it himself and wanted to get real diamonds for me. He put a lot of meaning to my ring. It's so special to me. I absolutely LOVE it.
